Cool Free Android Apps For the MK802iv

This quad core rockchip powerhouse has some serious horsepower to run many Android apps with snappy response.   Even so, this is a TV Dongle and not a cell phone, so there may be some differences as to what apps make better sense to install. You wouldn’t install any GPS software on this device..  Doesn’t make sense.

Here are some of my picks for what I would recommend for free apps for the Rikomagic MK802 IV.

  1. The Amazon App Store – This is an alternative to the Google play store and they give away a paid app for free every day!
  2. YouTube App  –  Watching YouTube videos on your big screen TV with your MK802 IV TV Dongle…  What could be better?
  3. MX Video Player App – My favorite video app for Android.
  4. 2X Client App – Remote control your MS Windows pc, using Remote Desktop.
  5. ES File Explorer App – A great file manager.
  6. Pandora App- Listen to streaming music on your MK802iv.
  7. Ebay App – Spend more money online buying other people’s stuff 🙂
  8. SiriusXM App – If you are a subscriber, this is a way cool to use your Rikomagic Mini Computer as a Sirus receiver!
  9. Accuweather App – Check your local weather before running out to get pizza.
  10. Domino’s Pizza App – What screams “I am a computer geek” louder than ordering a pizza on an Android Mini Pc, connected to your Television.
  11. Amazon Kindle – Read books on your TV.
  12. Amazon Mobile – Shop on Amazon using your Rikomagic MK802iv.   This can be really cool if you want multiple people to see something together.   Gather the family around the TV to see what to send Grandma for her birthday!
  13. Advanced Task Killer Free – Kill tasks if you need to.
  14. App Backup & Restore – Backup your apps.
  15. App2SD – Move your apps to the SD Card.

There are many many more free apps that you can install on your Rikomagic MK802iv.   Games are a very good choice.   With the quad core rockchip processing, you have a lot under the hood to make your gaming experience very cool.

There are also a bunch of paid apps, like Touchdown for Exchange, if you are using your Rikomagic MK802iv for business email, connecting to a Microsoft Exchange server.   I also would recommend an Office program, like Quick Office Pro.

As you can see, there is just so much you can do with this Android mini pc.  I just love this thing so much!   A whole lot of fun and versatility.

Now, for a cool app for your cell phone. RKM Remote.  This app will allow you to remote control your Rikomagic MK802iv by using your Android cell phone as a remote control.  In using this app, you can do all the Multi-Touch stuff on your cell phone and have it happen remotely on the TV.
